Leadership Team
Since January 2017, Francis is Managing Partner, Technology at LIRIS Invest. In this capacity, he is tasked with leading the development of LIRIS Invest's technology business.
Prior to that, Mr. Francis N. Sugewe led LIRIS Invest's Board of Directors from its creation to January 2017. In this capacity, he led the Board in developing and overseeing a strategy consistent with the company’s mission and vision. He was primarily in charge of making sure the board and management team had the best possible combination of skills and experience to succeed efficiently.
Francis has experience in Research and Development in the Telecoms with Ericsson Canada, Marketing with MTN Cameroon and Operations in the Power sector with AES Corporation and Globeleq. He graduated in Computer Engineering from the University of Quebec, Canada in 2011 and earned a Masters degree in Technology Entrepreneurship from the UCL School of Management, University of London, UK in 2016 as a Chevening Scholar.
He serves as Chairman on the Board of APEL (Association for the Promotion of Excellence and Leadership) where he was President from 2012 to 2014.
