Armel was appointed Legal Advisor and Company Secretary of LIRIS Invest in January 2018. He is in charge of all the firm's legal activities. In addition to advising LIRIS Invest's management and board, he is also tasked with supporting portfolio companies, making sure they operate with the highest level of legal compliance.
Armel has a solid experience in Legal Structuring, Corporate secretariat, Business Decision support, Contracts, Negociation and Litigation in Central Africa. He started his career in Commercial law with consumer goods giant Diageo Plc where he mainly works on Contract Management, Record retention supervision and Litigation Management. He's also worked on legal structuring and international transactions with Gibraltech Ltd and Terrespoir. He holds a Masters degree in Business Litigation from the Catholic University of Central Africa, and a Masters in International Litigation from the Institute of International Relations of Cameroon where he is currently pursuing a PhD in International Investment Law.
During his studies, he was elected President of the Cameroon Union of Law Students. He is passionate about Africa, and very involved in the fight against tribalism in Cameroon.
