Leadership Team
Alex was appointed Executive Chairman of LIRIS Invest in january 2017. In this capacity, he is in charge of leading the company's Board of Directors. In addition, Alex has been CEO and Managing Partner, Agro-Industry since january 2015. He is in charge of directing day to day operations of the company. He makes sure LIRIS Invest’s strategy is defined and implemented with the utmost efficiency, and that the company remains a leader in its field and the torchbearer of a new generation of entrepreneurs.
Mr Bisso has extensive project management experience in the construction, metals and mining sectors. He’s worked with IMIC Plc as a Project Controller. Prior to that, Alex worked in production management with the Consumer Goods giant Guiness Cameroon (Diageo Plc) and in project management with the power equipment manufacturer Wartsila and IBC S.A, a susbsidiary of Cameroon’s National Hydrocarbon Corporation specialized in Steel construction and manufacturing. He is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique, Yaoundé where he obtained a Masters of Mechanical Engineering in 2010. During his studies, he was elected President of Polytechnique Students' Association.
He serves on the Board of APEL (Association for the Promotion of Excellence and Leadership) where he was President from 2010 to 2012 and Chairman from 2014 to 2016.
